Episode 12
It’s the busiest weekend in youth athletics as Rick Edwards reports from the UK School Games and Iwan Thomas from the Young Athletes League Cup Final. We catch up with our young guns to see what they have achieved this season, and what they are aiming to achieve next season. Iwan Thomas’s relay team finally compete in the event which they have been working towards all year.


Episode 11
Rick Edwards meets up with Richard Humby, the only pole vaulter to have his own runway in his back garden. Sally Gunnell takes our McCain young guns for a sneak preview of the London 2012 Olympic Park. Iwan Thomas goes head to head with his professional lookalike in a crazy decathlon, plus we get the final part of the Hollyoaks crash sports day.


Episode 10
In a battle of the generations, Matti Mortimore and Roald Bradstock go head to head in a throwing competition where they lob everything from pool cues to fish! Last week we caught up with the UK’s most promising disability javelinist Nathan Stephens. This week it’s the turn of Daniel Lucker, is he the new David Weir? Iwan Thomas's relay team train with the GB 4x400m squad to fine tune before the Young Athletics League final and Rick Edwards reports from the McCain UK Challenge final.


Episode 9
Jason Gardener goes back to the 1930s to run the 100 yards dash with all the old kit, and he then repeats the run on a modern track with state of the art equipment. But how will the times compare? Javelin thrower Nathan Stephens goes to compete in the disabled Junior World Championships. We have the fourth part of the Hollyoaks cast competing against the kids of a Chester school, plus we hang out with uber cool UK sprinter Jeanette Kwakye to find out how she is finding life as a mentor to the next generation.


Episode 8
Rick Edwards reports from the McCain British Athletics League Cup Final. Iwan Thomas spends the day with Olympic gold medallist James DeGale and discovers how his running techniques form the basis of his stamina training. Rob Walker catches up with one of the busiest women in middle distance running, Steph Twell. And we have the third installment of the Hollyoaks cast competing against the kids of a Chester school.


Episode 7
Rick Edwards goes under the hands of physio legend Andy Miller to explore the world of athletics physiotherapy. Young gun Katarina Thompson competes at the World Youth Games in Italy. Iwan Thomas’s relay team go to HIPAC to be compared to elite athletes. And Gail Emms meets Mo Farrah at a Spikes photo shoot.


Episode 6
Rick Edwards hooks up with Linford Christie and Darren Campbell at an inner city estate to find out about Street Athletics. Iwan Thomas checks in with the world's top athletes at their hotel before the Crystal Palace Grand Prix as well as reporting from the McCain Jump and Throw Fest. He's looking at how athletes make the jump from youth to senior competition and focuses on young gun Liam Biddlecombe to see how he fairs in the Power of 10 table. Plus, we have the second part of Hollyoaks Crash Sports Day.


Episode 5
Rick Edwards has a hurdles master class with McCain Ambassador Perri Shakes Drayton. Rob Walker goes to Scotland to explore the talent north of the border. We profile young gun Matti Mortimore. Iwan Thomas’s relay team have their first trial race and we catch up with the winner from the Track & Field Roadshow as they enjoy their VIP prize.


Episode 4
Rick Edwards meets up with Sally Gunnell and the McCain Ambassadors at the Trafalgar Square Roadshow. Iwan Thomas competes at the Mayfair Park & Tower Race. Our Hollyoaks Crash Sports Day feature sees Stephen Beard AKA Archie take on the schools' best high jumper. Rob Walker meets David Weir, the fastest man on three wheels, who was once fined for speeding in a Richmond Park.


Episode 3
Rick Edwards has a pole vault master class from UK number 1 Steve Lewis. We focus on young hopeful Rikkie Letch. Gail Emms meets up with McCain Ambassador Marilyn Okoro and discovers her musical side when she sings at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. Iwan Thomas’s new relay team have their first training session.


Episode 2
Rick Edwards visits music science psychologist Dr Costas Karageorghis to see how music can turn athletes into winning machines. Young gun Emma Pallant is in action in Bedford. Iwan Thomas meets the fastest man with no legs, Oscar Pistorius and Sally Gunnell checks out the Super 8s in Cardiff.


Episode 1
We meet the presenters Rick Edwards and Iwan Thomas as they introduce us to some of the current and future stars of UK Athletics. Rick spends time with teams of young athletes competing for glory, while Iwan begins his hunt for a relay team he'll train to take on the best. And finally we chat (quickly) with the world's fastest man, Usain Bolt!
